How are “Made to Order” candles different from others?

Here you will find candles that require a bit of time to create. Shipping will take 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the item's complexity: a small mushroom may take about one week, while a long staff with intricate patterns may take up to four weeks. However, you will have the opportunity to choose the size, dot design, and type of wax you’d like for your candle. To place an order, please email us with the subject line “Made to Order.”

We can make a mushroom-shaped candle of any size, ranging from 7 to 25 cm, by special order. The color of the candle can vary depending on the wax available in our workshop at the time you place your order. You can choose both the color and size of the candle. To place an order, please email us with the subject line “Made-to-order.” Depending on the size of the mushroom, it will take us 3 days to 2 weeks to fulfill the order. The shape of the candles is inspired by my favorite mushroom — Boletus edulis.

An extremely long candle, 1.5 meters in height and 7-10 cm in diameter. This candle is made to order, and you can choose the diameter, design, and color of the candle. The color of the candle may vary depending on the wax available in our workshop at the time of your order. To place an order, please email us with the subject line “Made-to-order.” Depending on the size of the candle, it will take us 1 to 4 weeks to complete the order.

Knitted candles come in various shapes: with a single loop in the middle, two loops, three, or none at all. Over time, we've mastered more intricate weaving techniques, and we take pride in our most complex designs. These candles are challenging to replicate exactly, but we can use one you choose as a starting point — or create an experimental design tailored to your desired height. The weaving process is spontaneous; we don’t sketch designs for these candles. Each candle comes with a small base. The color may vary depending on the beeswax we have in stock at the time of your order. You’ll have the option to select the size and color. To place an order, email us with the subject line “Made-to-order.” Depending on the size of the candle, we’ll need 3 days to 2 weeks to complete your order. A Note on Safety: These candles produce a robust flame, as shown in the photos. We recommend lighting them outdoors for a more relaxed and safe experience. However, some have used them indoors. If you do, please ensure the candle is never left unattended.
