Hand-weaving candles from wax rods

One of Svelitsa’s favorites is the Vizanka candle, woven from several wax rods. This technique combines two crafts: weaving with straw or wooden rods and working with wax. In this workshop, we will learn how to weave a candle.

At the beginning of the class, I will show the different techniques and methods used. Then each participant will make at least three candles on a stand using this technique.



• We have planned a break during the class. You can go out into the courtyard or enjoy some healthy snacks, herbal tea or bellini.

• The class will be held in English, but depending on the languages spoken by the participants, I can switch to Russian, a little bit to German, and even less to Greek :-)
